Over an extended journey of dedicated development, we have perfected a unique production system that enables us to grow Pesticide-Free Pineapples at commercial scale. Eliminating chemical pesticides for pest and disease control represented one of our greatest agricultural challenges, requiring years of research, innovation, and continuous field validation.
By combining biological control, beneficial microorganisms, botanical extracts, natural bio-inputs, and precision agriculture, we have successfully replaced conventional chemical pesticides while maintaining the same productivity and premium fruit quality as conventional production. The result is healthier fruit, healthier ecosystems, and a more sustainable future for people and the planet.

At PCC Fresh, we combine precision agriculture, drone technology, biolaboratories, microalgae, biodigesters, and more than 800 solar panels to produce premium-quality pineapples while optimizing water use, maximizing resource efficiency, and reducing our environmental footprint.

Circular Economy
Nothing is wasted. Everything has value.
At Grupo Los Nacientes, circular economy is at the core of our sustainable production model. Through our Crownless Program, pineapple crowns are recovered and used as nutritious feed for our cattle instead of becoming agricultural waste.
The manure generated by the herd is mechanically separated into solid and liquid fractions. The solid fraction is combined with sawdust and other by-products from our wood processing operations to produce high-quality organic compost, which serves as a natural fertilizer for our organic pineapple production.
The liquid fraction is processed in our 1-million-liter biodigester, where it undergoes a natural transformation process for approximately three months. The resulting nutrient-rich leachate is enriched with additional nutrients and biological solutions before being returned to our pineapple plantations as a sustainable biofertilizer.
By integrating forestry, livestock, biotechnology, and agriculture into one regenerative system, we transform waste into valuable resources, improve soil health, reduce the use of synthetic fertilizers, and close the nutrient cycle. This circular approach reflects our purpose of Making the World Sustainable.
